A Full Salon on Wheels
Our van is a fully-equipped mobile grooming salon with hot and cold running water, professional-grade dryers, climate control, and a dedicated grooming table. We carry our own water and power — no need to use yours. Everything is sanitized between every appointment.
We park curbside or in your driveway. The whole appointment usually takes 1–3 hours depending on the package and your pet's coat. You're welcome to come check on your pet any time, or step away and we'll bring them back to you when we're done.

General Questions
How long does an appointment take?
Most appointments are 1–3 hours, depending on your pet's size, coat, and the package you choose. Bath-only appointments for small pets are usually 30–45 minutes. Full Ultimate haircuts on a large or long-coated pet can take 3–4 hours.
Do I need to be home during the appointment?
We strongly prefer that an adult be home, both for our safety and yours. If you can't be present, we ask that you confirm arrangements in advance and that someone be reachable by phone.
Where do you park?
Your driveway is ideal. Curbside also works. We need a flat, accessible spot to set up. Our van is full size — please let us know if your street has narrow access or any restrictions.
Do you use my water or power?
No. Our van is fully self-contained with its own hot and cold water and power. You don't need to provide anything.
What kind of products do you use?
Premium, pet-safe shampoos and conditioners. We have specialty products for sensitive skin, fleas, de-shedding, and puppies. If your pet has allergies or product preferences, let us know in advance.
How often should my pet be groomed?
Most pets do well on a 4–8 week schedule. Doodles, poodles, and long-coated breeds need 4–6 weeks to prevent matting. Short-coated breeds can stretch to 6–8 weeks for baths and tidy-ups. We'll recommend a schedule for your specific pet.
Pricing Questions
Why do you have different prices for short-coat and long-coat dogs?
Most groomers charge one flat rate and then tack on surcharges for double coats, doodles, or longer hair — fees that can catch you off guard at the end of an appointment. We do it differently. Our pricing is built around your dog's coat type from the start, so what you see is what you pay. Short-coat dogs (Labs, Beagles, Boxers, and similar breeds) are priced to reflect the actual work involved. Long-coat, double-coat, and doodle breeds are priced a bit higher — because they genuinely take more time, more product, and more care — but there are no hidden surcharges added on top. No surprises, just honest pricing for every coat type.
Why isn't the Ultimate Experience available for short-coat dogs?
The Ultimate Experience includes a full body haircut and styling — which simply isn't something short-coat breeds need. Labs, Beagles, Boxers, Pugs, and similar dogs have coats that don't require cutting or sculpting. Offering it to them would mean charging for a service that doesn't apply. Short-coat dogs are best served by our Clean Kit or Care Plus, which cover everything they actually need. The Ultimate Experience is reserved for long-coat, double-coat, and doodle breeds where the full haircut makes a real difference.
Are your prices high?
Mobile grooming is generally priced a bit higher than walk-in salons because you're paying for a fully-equipped van to come to your driveway and for your pet to get one-on-one attention from start to finish — no cages, no waiting, no assembly line. That said, our rates are competitive with (and often lower than) other mobile groomers in our service area. Ways you can save: 25% off your first groom for puppies under 9 months, multi-pet discounts (10–20% off when multiple pets are booked together), and prepaid loyalty packs that save $85–$400 per pet over a year. We also never add surprise fees — every add-on is quoted before we start.
What if my pet is matted?
We assess matting in person and quote the de-matting fee before starting. For severe matting, the safest option is often a short shave-down — we'll explain why and get your approval first.
Are travel fees included?
Travel within 10 miles of Bristol, PA is included. Beyond 10 miles: $15 (10–20 mi), $25 (20–30 mi), $40+ (30+ mi). Travel fee is quoted when you book.
Do you take tips?
Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. 15–20% is standard if you'd like to tip.
How do I pay?
We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is due at the time of service.
Policies
Cancellations
We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment incur a $50 cancellation fee.
No-Shows
We confirm every appointment 48 hours in advance by text or call. If we arrive at your scheduled appointment and cannot reach you or access your pet within 15 minutes, we will leave to stay on schedule for our other clients.
A $75 no-show / trip fee applies, plus $50 for each additional pet that was scheduled.
Service Refusal & Safety
We reserve the right to decline or stop service if a pet poses a serious safety risk. We will never punish, shock, or use force on your pet. If your pet needs more than we can safely handle, we'll be honest with you and help you find the right solution.
Veterinary Care & Vet Bills
Your pet's safety always comes first. In the rare event a pet needs veterinary attention while in our care, we will contact you immediately. Grooming can occasionally reveal or aggravate conditions that already exist (such as skin irritation, matting-related sores, or stress-related issues in senior or anxious pets). If an incident occurs during your pet's appointment, that groom is on us — however, Ramella Grooming is not responsible for veterinary bills or medical costs. All veterinary care and associated expenses remain the owner's responsibility.
Photo & Video Consent
We may take before-and-after photos of your pet for our portfolio and social media. We never share owner names, addresses, or identifying information. If you'd prefer we not photograph your pet, just let us know.
